Skillet not actually 8 inches round.
I sent skillet to my mother ... was hoping for an 8 inch cooking surface, but turns out about 5 inch cooking surface ... will probably use some time in future.
Cons:
Cooking surface too small
Best Uses:
Small Kitchens

Very nice
I bought this product to use on our wood stove for emergencies when the power goes out. It is beautifully made and is so pretty we wanted to display it on the stove all the time. It should last many years to come, I would definately buy this line of products again.

Beautifully made

Great value for the money.
Cast iron is the healthiest to use, BUT to avoid overloading of iron intake, the enameled ones, are PERFECT. I grease it with Dr. Fife's Non-Stick Cooking Oil, made with Coconut Oil, and then add a spoon of Fresh Shores Coconut Oil, before cooking either Christopher 660 mg Omega-3 eggs, or grass-fed Beef or Bison, even Black Beans... Cooked on med-low heat, it doesn't only not stick, it's also the best way to cook food for good health...
Pros:
Durable, Easy To Clean, Even heating, Handle Stays Cool, Non-Stick, Maintains heat, Love inside slick finish
Cons:
Best on med-low heat
Best Uses:
I use it all the time
